Sharing Life Experiences

One of the most challenging experiences I had at work was when my company, DHL, changed the inventory management system. At first, it was difficult because I was used to the old process, and the new system required different procedures and a faster workflow. What was the result of the experience? As a result, I was able to improve my efficiency and help my team transition smoothly. The experience taught me that being adaptable is key in a dynamic work environment. How did your flexibility and adaptability help you to deal with the situation? I adapted by learning quickly, asking for guidance, and practicing until I felt comfortable. My flexibility helped me stay calm, avoid mistakes, and support my coworkers who were also struggling with the change. Would you change anything in order to deal in a better way with it? If I could change something, I would have prepared earlier by researching the new system in advance. However, I believe that challenges like this help us gro...

Crime and Punishment: A Journey into the Human Mind with Dostoevsky

Imagen
Literature as a mirror to human morality. I recently finished reading Crime and Punishment by Fyodor Dostoevsky, a novel that explores the moral dilemmas of a young man who commits a murder and faces the consequences of his actions. Through this book, I reflected on good and evil, justice and guilt—topics that are still relevant today. As I read in English, I realized how translation affects the perception of the work, which helped me expand my vocabulary and understand the cultural context of Russia. Learning English allowed me to enjoy literary works in their original language and grasp the nuances of the words. Through reading, not only do you learn the language, but you also develop critical thinking skills. "Man has a heart and a mind, but he can choose which one to use." —Fyodor Dostoevsky, Crime and Punishment

Critical Thinking and Media Literacy: Analyzing News in the Digital Age

How can we be responsible consumers of information? We live in a world where information is just around the corner, but how can we know if what we're reading or watching is true? In this post, I explore the importance of critical thinking and media literacy. In a world flooded with fake and biased news, learning to analyze media and developing a critical perspective is crucial to making informed decisions. By learning English, I've gained access to information in other languages. This has allowed me to compare different versions of the same stories and develop a broader view. Through this process, I've improved not only my English but also my ability to evaluate information more objectively. When reading news, be sure to check the source, look for multiple perspectives, and reflect on the message behind the words.
